At The Detail Doctor, our caliper painting process is built for longevity and heat resistance. The vehicle is professionally taped off to ensure no overspray. Each caliper is carefully sanded and beaded to remove contaminants, corrosion, and old coatings, creating a smooth, clean, paint-ready surface. We then apply five coats of high-heat ceramic paint, followed by a high-heat ceramic clear coat to ensure maximum durability, color depth, and resistance to heat, brake dust, and road debris.
The result is a flawless, long-lasting finish designed to perform under extreme braking conditions. (The caliper is NOT removed from the vehicle)
